RockFoxie-Asthor 3 is 50cc racing scooter with back-bone steel frame and hi-end tuning & racing components from the leaders of industry. RockFoxie is mostly aimed at STAGE6 components giving greatest output and quality.
We haven't a lot of details about the project now. However we show you all we know. The projection of 3.01 prototype is finished now. And we have started the production. Here is some main stages of how it should be:
Prototype #1 (3.02)
The prototype #1 will be assembled using china-scooter parts to cut the wages for some financial safety.
Building frame #1
First of all we shall build the frame #1 for ordinary china-scooter parts (engine, suspension, variator). When the frame will be ready we shall perform tests to see how it works.
Frame #1 improvements
After testing we shall introduce some corrections to frame construction - some enforcing elements may be or may be not. And the resulting construction of frame should appear
Assembling prototype #1 base
Gathering all the parts of ordinary scooter on the frame we shall get the prototype #1 that could move itself. On this stage some improvements could also appear. Then we'll perform racing tests.
Finishing prototype #1
There's 2 plastic details in this version - cowl and seat. And for us the production of them is the stage too. Details should be of a very good quality, 'cause they affect the outlook a lot. We'll order them and then we'll mount 'em. This way the Prototype #1 (3.02) with china-scooter components will be ready.
Prototype #2 (3.03)
Prototype #2 is 3.02 construction adopted for high-end racing components.
Frame #2 production
We shall begin with frame again. That will be almost the copy of 3.02 with the changes that another engine-variator block will require. We don't think these changes will be significant, but anyway we'll push it to hard tests after finishing.
Cowls production
Probably the 3.03 will have another cowls - GP version. Cowls will cover much more to enhance aerodynamic characteristics. The outlook is not ready now. And if you want you could help us with it!
