Design is following the same principles. Graphically 2.02 continues the idea set in 3d sketch 2.01 but with greater detalization and more specified dimensions and forms of standard parts.
Back-bone frame
That's the main distinguishing feature of RockFoxie brand. And we carefully show it, we accent on it and focus on its elements.
Side tubular frame
Side tubular frame is the element of safety for driver and passenger. Design of this solid construction underlines the openness of the car having the fragment of body only - the cowl.
Cowl
Nose part of cowl performs firm RockFoxie style. It's unique and well recognizable impressed by WWII fighters. Nose cowl doesn't hide backbone frame but properly arranges it. Main side of cowl is fringed by decorative wooden boards along both sides.
Side fringes of wood
The side wooden boards made under impression of expensive speed boats from 60s. This is decorative element to underline lightness and elegance of construction.
Separated cockpits
In spite of visibility of pure design idea, that's the 100% functional decision. The separation of cockpits allows to maximize the strenght and complexity of back-bone frame.
Integrated seats and floor
Trying to make car lighter we take the idea of fashionable furniture world. Seat and floor integrated to one detail glued from extra light plywood produced from wood of tropical trees with low density.
Xenon & LED lights
The accessory impacts the full look of the car. 4 xenon light cannons complected with 2 LED running lights.
Standard engine and suspension
The rear suspension of unusual look is nothing more than standard Lada Samara front McPherson stubs. RockFoxie is the low car and upper supports of rear springs are on the same level as usual hatchback bonnet. The placement of engine and transmission wasn't changed in comparison with suspension. Front suspension and steering mechanism - that's the whole VAZ 2121 block. Native 2121 bar is mounted to back-bone frame.
