RockFoxie 0.70 TRIF - is a closed cabin scooter-tricycle built on base of standard scooter's engine+variator block and front-forks.
Idea
Russian rules of the road allowed to ride 50сс scooters and mopeds with 2 or 3 wheels below 450kg of mass & 50km/h max speed without registration and driving license until 2013. We were wishing to use the possibility to create upgraded scooter to be used up all the year including winter conditions. So we had such requirements as:
The project
We had been projecting 7 editions of future vehicle since summer 2012 until winter 2013. So the latest version is called 0.70. All stages would be presented at this site in special page "Archives". Version 0.70 was close to finish when new edition of russian rule of the road appeared...
Frost
New rule of the road edition prohibited registration & license free usage of scooters and mopeds. New "M" category to be appeared for driving licenses. Naturally this means our concept loose its main advantage. So we had frozen the project in spring 2013 in current condition. However we are open for dialog with everybody and every company who have interest in project.

We haven't completely left the scooter-trike idea. But the continuation will be logically another. New TRIF will be projected on the base of bigger and more powerful engine. This fact will allow make it faster and safer - we'll use steel back-bone frame as RF 2.02 has. Heavier and faster vehicle will require "A" category open in driving license.
